3 WAYS SMART PEOPLE SABOTAGE THEMSELVES WHEN THEY'RE UNHAPPY AT WORK

There are plenty of things you could do to cope when you hate your job. You could vent. You could try to find a solution. Or, you could throw yourself into a job search because you can’t stomach the idea of going back for one more day. All three of those moves are reasonable.
But what you can’t do is make the following three mistakes because they’ll only hurt your reputation and career. And that’s not good for you at all.

1. You Can’t Stop Caring
OK, that’s not entirely fair. I’m not telling you to find a way to be passionate about a gig that you just can’t stand. But you can’t flaunt your feelings in a way that’s disrespectful to everyone around you. For example, just because you’re not pumped to start your day doesn’t make it OK to casually stroll in to work 30 minutes late with your headphones blasting while everyone else is trying to work.
Nor is it acceptable to completely mail it in because you couldn’t care less if a project or task even gets done. This behavior doesn’t just affect your co-workers, but eventually you, too.
Remember: The people sitting in that room are your future references and you want to leave this job on the most positive note possible. Not to mention, it’s probably not their fault that you’re no longer fulfilled, so taking it out on them makes you a crappy co-worker (and if it is their fault, consider this great practice in dealing with challenging people).

2. You Can’t Avoid Looking For A New Job
There’s probably at least a little part of you who thinks that no matter how bad your job is, you’re just way too tired to go home after a long day of work and start looking for something new. And I get it. Doing something you don’t enjoy is exhausting. The problem is that nobody’s going to do this for you, so you’re going to be stuck at your job indefinitely if you constantly avoid it.
Want to make the whole thing easier to swallow? Block out time for searching on your calendar for an hour here and there throughout the week. You’ll quickly notice that having a regularly scheduled block (or blocks) of time set aside will not only make you hate job searching less, but you’ll maybe look forward to cranking out a few applications in the time you’ve set aside for yourself. Just one more thing you can check off your to-do list.

3. You Can’t Keep It To Yourself
I know you might be thinking, “I’m being a good trouper. Why should anyone know how much I can’t stand this place?” Your resilience is admirable, but the truth is that at some point, you’ll bottle up a lot of frustration to the point where you take it out on someone (or something) in an incredibly unproductive way.
Not only that, but there’s really nothing to gain from trying to figure it all out yourself. While you might think that your closest friends and family appreciate the fact that you’re not “bothering” them about what’s happening at work, the truth is that they probably have a feeling that things aren’t awesome right now anyway. So go ahead and trust them with what you’re thinking. And don’t worry—if they run out of things to say to make you feel better or get sick of hearing you complain, they’ll let you know.
As a band I still love once sang: "Work sucks, I know." I want nothing more than for you to find something that you love to do for money, and I completely understand your predicament. It might be hard to drag yourself to the office to do that thing you hate to do, but you that doesn’t give you free rein to start behaving unprofessionally on the job. You’re better than that and you owe it to future you to step it up a notch.

HOW TO GET MARRIED ON A 20K SALARY

If age is no longer on your side, you have found the woman you want to marry but your salary is the barrier between you and your marital promised land, you earn 20k or a little more per month, your sexual urge is getting uncontrollable, you are over 30 and your fiancee wouldn't mind settling down with you, here is the practical way to survive on a 20k salary!

1. Save 10%
2. Get a room apartment where you will not be paying more than 2k per month.
3. With neighbours, your NEPA bill should not be more than #500:00.
4. Feeding for both you and wife not more than 10k. Always buy your foodstuff in bulk every month, you will save lots of money.
5. Keep 10% for emergencies, that is 2k.
6. The remaining #3,500 will be shared between you and your wife as pocket money. You 2k, wife, #1,500.

Now listen: you can only do this on the conditions given below: 1. Your wife will get a job to assist you financially so that both of you will put money together to start a business, look for a higher paying job or run your vision that will yield profits, enlarge you and move to a higher level of comfort and wealth. Discuss this thoroughly in courtship and ensures she agrees. That is what courtship is about: to discuss your future and see if you can walk together (Amos 3:3).
2. No baby for the first 2 years while you both work harder and get something better or extra doing to cater for the baby. Discuss this thoroughly. Visit a family planning clinic and get an advise on which family planning method will work for you. Withdrawal sometimes fail and calculating the ovulation period is not completely reliable but if she is very diligent, can consistently monitor her ovulation, you may take the risk but combining with CD is better (I'm talking to mature adults here).
3. There will be pressure from your family especially your mother for her to get pregnant. Stand up for her, shield her, be a man and let your mum know that for personal reasons, it's your decision for her to delay pregnancy. Marriage is for mature men and women, not for boys and girls. You should be responsible and have the final say in your marriage. Your decisions are between you and your wife, whatever anyone else says is secondary! Protect her from your family, stand up for her!
4. Pray diligently and consistently for God to enlarge you.
5. Map out practical plans for you to achieve your dreams.
6. Have the faith that can move mountains! The Bishop Oyedepo and Fela Durotoye's type of faith: These men had almost nothing when they started but their wives were working and assisted them till they broke through. You can make it before you get married. You don't have to get married on a salary of 20k. The Lord can surprise you with a better job, profitable business or great contracts before you marry, if not yet then don't wait till you are in your 50s before you settle down.

7 REASONS WHY LAZY PEOPLE ARE MORE LIKELY TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Laziness is something that every person has to a bigger or lesser extent. Some people have it to a much, much bigger extent, though. We are used to considering it as a bad thing. However, what if it is not? What if laziness actually helps to become more successful? I bet many of you would like this approach. Actually, many lazy people achieve huge success. History gives us many vivid examples. For instance, Charles Darwin was incredibly lazy. His teachers and parents suffered a lot making him learnt grammar and math at school; often he fell asleep right at the middle of the lesson. He preferred fishing and shooting crows to doing sports and when he was a college student, he spent most of the time in pubs. Even when he got into science, he didn’t rush things and spent years writing his work.

Another example is sir Winston Churchill. At school he showed the worst result in class and didn’t even go to college. He was absolutely indifferent to sport and his favourite activity was sitting on a rocking chair. Afterwards he became a great politician.
Carl Marks lived at the expense of his poor mother, partied for months and didn’t want to work at all. Then he lived on Engel’s money. All in all, his study has overthrew the established views of the whole world.

Many other great people were said to be incredibly lazy including Einstein, Newton, Picasso, Mendeleev and others. Nevertheless, they managed to achieve unbelievable success and become well-known all over the world. That proves lazy people can actually go far. And laziness can be a great advantage. Here are some reasons lazy people are more likely to be successful.

They are inventive
Lazy people are very creative when it comes to organizing their work. They don’t waste time on unnecessary things and get strict to the point. A lazy employee will always find a way to automate and optimize all the repetitive processes in their jobs. As there is nothing more annoying for a lazy person than a regular monotonous work.

Lazy people always try to make life easier. People were too lazy to scoop out the soil – they invented a digging machine. They were too lazy to do the cleaning – they invented a vacuum cleaner. Who knows, maybe lazy people were the ones who invented all the great inventions of the century.

They are entrepreneurial
Often lazy people are very enterprising. They have many ideas and projects as their minds are not filled with excessive thoughts and responsibilities. They think in different categories. It is important for them that the work process is not boring and there are guaranteed results at the end.

They know when to rest
The most important thing is to know when to relax, as the more energy people expend, the less you have of it to fulfil big plans. People who strain themselves all the time age faster; their memory is falling much quicker. Besides, some scientists think that getting up early if you are a night owl and making yourself exercise intensively has a destructive effect on your health, especially after you are 40. So, lazy people, relax and keep being lazy.

They are more relaxed
Lazy people don’t rush everything and don’t jump from one thing to the other all the time. They take the time and get to task after task. While some people panic, their attention get distracted and they don’t fully commit to tasks. Lazy people, on the other hand, have fewer worries and calmly do their jobs.

They know their goals
Lazy people know how to prioritize and to focus on their own goals, not on those imposed by other people. They are simply too lazy to pay attention to other people’s priorities, so they focus on their own. Besides, they spend much less time achieving these goals, as they will have more time to relax then.

They cannot but be clever
It actually takes a great mind to be lazy at work. You need to find ways to do nothing for a while and then to complete all the tasks in time. Employees tend to be either smart or stupid, lazy or painstaking. If you are smart and lazy, you probably are the most efficient worker in your company.

They use technologies that allow them to be lazy
In our time, there are lots of programs, applications and gadgets that allow people do their job much quicker. Lazy people know about all those things and use them to get the tasks done twice as fast. For example, if they work on a document, they wouldn’t just write it and then send it to lawyer, editor, manager and other people to check – that would take a lot of time. They would just create a Google Doc, give people the access to the document so that they can approve or make any correction at the same time. That would simplifies the whole work process, save a lot of time and allow them to be lazy for a bit longer.

American professor Arnold Ludwig once analysed more than 1000 people who achieved the greatest success in their lives. He came to the conclusion that apart from having some natural talent, you need to be able to… waste time. Surely, it may sound paradoxical for our century and lifestyle. However, even Einstein used to say that boredom is a great tool for developing your imagination and creativity.

HOW WOMEN CAN GET BETTER SLEEP

If you’re one of these women aged 40 and over who find it difficult to sleep, you are not alone. Many women wake up every night between 12 midnight and 4 am and start prowling around the house. It is now clear that inability to sleep affects not only men but women as well.

There now exists in medicine a faculty that deals with sleep medicine due to the increase in a number of people being affected.  In frustration you may begin pacing the house, cleaning the kitchen floor, surfing the Internet or watching CNN or movies on late night TV.

Getting a good night’s sleep becomes more and more difficult as we age, but women in menopause find it particularly difficult to sleep well at night. In many cases, this inability to sleep is as a result of too much oestrogen in your system that is not balanced by progesterone.

Before menopause, oestrogen is the dominant hormone for about the first two weeks in the menstrual cycle and progesterone is dominant in the last two weeks of the cycle. When menopause occurs naturally these hormones should continue to balance each other, but if you are a woman in menopause leading a stressful lifestyle, you may find that your production of progesterone is suppressed and or converted to stress hormones and you will have a dominance of estrogen in your system leading to sleeplessness and other unpleasant menopausal symptoms.

Using a little progesterone cream made from natural bio-identical plant sources may help you easily to solve this problem. The right way to use progesterone cream or oil is to use about one eighth to a quarter of a teaspoon daily for three weeks out of the month, with a week of each month to maintain the sensitivity of the progesterone receptors. Natural progesterone cream made from bio-identical plant sources is not the same as the synthetic hormone progestin, which is made from animal sources.

I know some women who have not slept for longer than four hours since they started menopause. When they were given some progesterone cream they reported that they were able to sleep for eight hours. This was a major turning point in their recovery from a long list of menopausal and health problems.

If it’s not hormones, what is it?
If after taking progesterone cream you still cannot sleep, then you need to look for other causes. Another very common cause of sleeplessness is food intolerance or allergies. Most people will have a high spike in blood sugar levels after eating or drinking something sweet. This is fine during the day, but eating sugary foods at bedtime will lead to a hypoglycemic episode 90 minutes later that will result in a surge of adrenaline and keep you awake for several hours. Eating cheese close to the time of going to bed may also keep some people awake. Some cheese have high amounts of tyrosine, which is used to make noradrenaline, a stimulant made by your adrenal gland.

If you suffer from chronic insomnia, it is a good idea to keep a diary of the food you eat so that you can correlate foods eaten and the quality of your sleep each night. This way you can begin to have a better sense of foods that help you to sleep and those that pump up your system to keep you tossing and turning all night.

The liver does its job of digesting your food between 1 am and 3 am. If you eat anything that it finds difficult to digest then you will likely be waking up around this time. Eating late may also cause insomnia. Try to eat no later than 6 pm so that your food would have had time to digest before you sleep.

Drugs are not the answer
Have you noticed that when you have a cold or a cough and you take cold and allergy medications at night you are unable to sleep? Many of these drugs can cause insomnia even when they claim to be nighttime brands, with a sleeping aid designed to help you sleep. Many prescription and over-the-counter drugs can also cause sleeplessness.

These include antidepressants, asthma medications, painkillers, some of the heart drugs and thyroid medication. You need these medications, and you can change the time you take them. Try taking these medications in the morning and early afternoon and see if that helps you to sleep better.

If you have high blood pressure and you have been put on diuretic drugs two times a day, you might be up and down all night to urinate. Reducing the dose and changing the dosage times to avoid taking it in the evening might also help you considerably.

If you’re tossing and turning at night, visit your pharmacist and ask for the information inserts for any drugs you’re taking, buy a magnifying glass and read them. If insomnia is listed as a possible side effect, talk to your doctor and don’t accept a sleeping pill as a solution. Taking the drug at a different time during the day, or taking a lower dose, will often solve the problem.

Taking sleeping pills bought over the counter or from a doctor on prescription and other anti-anxiety drugs will make you develop an unhealthy dependency on the drugs, and make you feel woozy and tired during the day. Taking sleeping pills is almost never the answer to insomnia. If you must take them make sure they are taken only temporarily and are a stopgap measure. The best thing to do is to find out what is causing you sleepless nights.

Treating the side effect of a drug with another drug can start a vicious cycle of side effects and interactions that can land you in the hospital or even kill you. They create more problems than they solve, sometimes with life-threatening consequences. Remember the sad case of Heath Ledger, a promising actor in the film The Dark Knight. Heath apparently had problems sleeping. He claimed he could not sleep for more than two hours at a time. He began to take many sleeping pills and is rumoured to have died taking an overdose of a combination of prescription and over- the- counter sleeping pills.

A WORD FROM A COACH

I have a message for a reader here.

Nothing seem to me working, the end of the tunnel is bleak and full of darkness. You are at your wit ends, you are called so many names by your peers, mates, family and spouse. You have no shoulder to lean on and you have summed up that perhaps they are all right with their characterization of you as good for nothing.

Be glad and rejoice that they saw and can see your beginning but not your future, not all these people around can predict just the next second.

They are not God, they are not your creator, I am a firm believer and no that God has never made a mistake with anything he created. First I announce to you, you are not a mistake. It takes elephant two years to birth though cats, goats, fowls etc would have had multiple offsprings. But when the elephant drops the sound of the falling alone catches attention. Your break through will be announced by these same people.
Stay focused (Following On Course Until-you Succeed) on all you are doing.

Albert Einstein was sacked from school for being daft by teachers but little did not know or see his future as a genius of science. Every seed must decay to birth anew or sprout its greatness.

If you want to jump very higher, you got to bend, if you want to break 100 metre record, you got train when none is watching or expecting a world record holder. Your sweat will be a  repeller to others initially but your success will trade your name. Look at all supposed celebs, go for their picturs from junior high school through to university until their breakthrough. There is hope for everyone and you reading this especially.

You are not a mistake or no accident, you are just a diamond in rough going through cutting processing and polishing. You will lose a bit of yourself but your value will be just astronomical.

Everyone can give up on you bit but remember God has not given up you.

You are destined for greatness  all the sufferings, shame, sweat and survival is for that your story of success.

Go ye with hope and spirit of restoration.
