From lots of experience
gathered from different fields and views of life I have come to discover that
to possess talent or to be purposeful is not enough to live a life of
fulfillment; there have been so many talks, speech, messages etc. from many
motivational speakers and facilitators on how one can discover and make into
use the talent or potentials embedded in one. The ratio of those actually
realizing their dreams and living up to expectation to those who just discover
and never come to reality or to those who seems to fall/withered off in the
struggle is still incomparable and the later pulls no weight in the balance.
I have always been
curious on how individuals can actually rule their world by fulfilling their
dreams and aspirations, then I come to realize that “Talent is given but success is not“, for you to be successful in
accomplishing your goals you will have to earn it because life is a matter of
choice and every choice you make makes you. Among the class of those living
large and comfortable in this present time many of them got to the point they
are by sacrificing a lot and they have also have to deny themselves lots of
pleasures by putting all their best in terms of dedication, discipline and
commitment to attain a great feat. A hardworking and dedicated man will move
far in life than a talented man without hard-work and commitment. But let’s
think of a talented man with these features; such man will move beyond the realm
of impossibilities.
Less Brown said
something in one of his talks ; he compared success/life to a man that decided
not to see anyone in a particular day while he lock himself indoor, some people
came by knocked after sometime got tired and left without a response but a
certain person came, knocked and kept knocking till he got an answer. Which
means if you do not press well in life you will never get a result; because
life will always try to take everything from you including your life, but while
you are still alive, make the very BEST
from LIFE and fulfill POTENTIALS.
